AgentTeal ("we," "us," or "our") operates the AgentTeal platform at agentteal.com. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our Service.
By using AgentTeal, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. This policy applies to all users of the platform, including visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers.
02 Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of data:

We do not collect payment card numbers. All payment data is handled directly by Paddle.
03 How We Use Your Data
We use collected data for the following purposes:
- Service delivery - Provisioning, running, and monitoring your AI agents
- Billing & subscriptions - Processing payments, enforcing plan limits, tracking credit usage
- Account management - Authentication, settings, and preferences
- Product improvement - Analyzing usage patterns to improve features
- Security & compliance - Detecting abuse, enforcing Terms, legal obligations
- Support - Responding to inquiries and resolving issues
- Communications - Transactional emails (billing, alerts) and product updates (you may opt out)
We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties for marketing purposes.
05 Paddle - Payment Processing
AgentTeal uses Paddle as our payment infrastructure and merchant of record. This means:
- Paddle processes all payment transactions on our behalf
- Paddle collects and stores your payment card details - we never see or store card data
- Paddle handles tax calculation and collection (VAT, sales tax) where applicable
- Paddle issues receipts and invoices as the merchant of record
- Your payment data is governed by Paddle's Privacy Policy
We receive from Paddle: subscription status, plan details, billing country, and transaction history - but not full card numbers or sensitive payment details.
06 AWS Infrastructure & AI Processing
AgentTeal runs on Amazon Web Services infrastructure in the us-east-1 region. Your data - including agent configurations, run logs, and AI interactions - is stored and processed on AWS.
AI model inference is performed through AWS Bedrock. Prompts sent to your agents are processed by models hosted on Bedrock. AWS's data handling is governed by the AWS Privacy Notice.
We do not use your agent interactions to train AI models.
08 Data Retention
- Account data - Retained while your account is active, deleted within 30 days of account closure
- Agent logs - Retained for 90 days, then automatically purged
- Billing records - Retained for 7 years to comply with financial regulations
- Support communications - Retained for 2 years
You may request deletion of your data at any time (subject to legal retention requirements) by contacting privacy@agentteal.com.
09 Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access - Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction - Request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion - Request deletion of your personal data
- Portability - Receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection - Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Restriction - Request restriction of processing in certain cases
- Opt-out of marketing - Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time

10 GDPR & International Users
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the following applies:
Legal basis for processing:
- Contract performance - Processing necessary to deliver the Service you subscribed to
- Legitimate interests - Security, fraud prevention, product improvement
- Legal obligation - Tax records, regulatory compliance
- Consent - Marketing communications (you can withdraw at any time)
Your data is processed on AWS infrastructure in the US (us-east-1). We rely on standard contractual clauses for international data transfers in compliance with GDPR.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe we are not processing your data lawfully.
11 Children's Privacy
AgentTeal is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us at privacy@agentteal.com.
12 Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest
- Access controls and authentication requirements for staff
- Regular security assessments and monitoring
- AWS security infrastructure including VPC, security groups, and IAM
No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
13 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the platform before changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
